My order is a surprise, what if they miss the delivery?Updated a month ago
We love a good surprise! That said, we always recommend giving the lucky recipient a heads-up that something is on its way, especially as our treats are perishable. Here's what happens if delivery is missed:
DPD (Nationwide):
DPD will reattempt delivery on their next working day, as long as there are no address issues. If the order cannot be delivered and 48 hours have passed since the nominated delivery date, the order will unfortunately be destroyed as it contains perishable food. We will not be able to re-deliver or replace the order free of charge if delivery fails due to the recipient not being in, refusal, or an address issue.
Royal Mail:
Royal Mail will reattempt delivery on their next working day. If delivery fails, the order will be returned to us and destroyed as it contains perishable goods. We cannot re-deliver or replace free of charge if delivery fails.
Premium Courier (within M25):
If the recipient is not in, the courier will try and call the number provided to try and achieve delivery. If they cannot deliver we will contact you for instructions. Our courier partner will try to redeliver the same day if their route permits, but a redelivery charge will apply which will need to be paid before re-delivery takes place. If same-day redelivery isn't possible, we can attempt delivery the next day (subject to your instructions received by 4pm and payment of a redelivery fee), or we maybe able to arrange collection from our Soho store.
Please ensure a valid UK contact number is provided — we and the courier unable to contact international numbers.
